The Saskatchewan Greenhouse Growers Association is coordinating interest for group pesticide training sessions with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, typically offered in mid-November to early December. While these courses are normally available through distance learning year-round, some portions—particularly those involving calculations and safety procedures—are math-intensive and better suited to in-person instruction.

By registering as a group, SGGA members and Sask Polytech students benefit from a reduced tuition rate. This form helps us gauge interest for new applicator (PEST 170), recertification (PEST 270), and pesticide dispenser (PEST 162) courses. Sessions are typically held in Saskatoon, with Regina as a potential second location if there’s enough demand. SGGA does not deliver the course directly—students will register and pay through Sask Poly when course dates and CRNs are confirmed and are responsible for obtaining their own materials.
